WEEE Directive

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is a European law designed to encourage and regulate the collection, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

The regulations came into force on 1st July 2007, which now means all mobile phones are fully classed as WEEE and need to be reused and recycled in a responsible and compliant way. As a dedicated mobile phone recycler, usedfone continues to provide customers with our simple and efficient buy-back service.

These objectives have shaped our service from the beginning, which means we can continue to offer our customers a simple solution while also fulfilling the requirements of the WEEE regulations.
